Fairfax Behavioral Health
Overview
Fairfax Behavioral Health is one of the oldest behavioral health and substance use treatment centers in Washington State. Their campuses in Kirkland, Monroe and Everett include 221 inpatient beds and an outpatient group counseling center.
The Monroe campus is pleased to announce the opening of the Fairfax Military Program on November 9, 2023. This unit is a co-occurring and substance use treatment program offering specialized treatment designed specifically for the needs and
challenges of active-duty service members and veterans. This population requires a special level of treatment due to the nature of their line of work.
The new program includes a mix of evidence-based and alternative therapy treatments such as dialectical behavioral therapy skills, cognitive behavioral therapy, art and recreation therapy, and resiliency-focused therapy. This is the only program of its’ kind in Washington state. After completing treatment, patients may transition to their intensive outpatient program offered three or five days a week.
Their goal is to help our active-duty service members and veterans return to their next stage of life after completing their program. They believe that our heroes deserve the best care and assistance, which is why they have created this one-of-a-kind initiative.
“As an Army Veteran myself, I understand the importance and responsibility that comes with taking care of members of our Armed Forces,” said Chris West, CEO, Fairfax Behavioral Health. “Our military program combines effective treatment methods with a team that is committed to providing world class care.”
