The Ward Roney Jr. VFW Post 7511 and its Auxiliary are excited to announce the eighth annual Flags for our Fallen 5K run or walk on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Lake Tye Park in Monroe.

This Memorial Day-themed event aims to build community, support veterans, and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The event starts at 8:30 a.m. with a short ceremony, followed by a 5K walk/run around Lake Tye, which begins promptly at 9.

This year marks the event’s eighth anniversary, and we invite Snohomish County community members to demonstrate their continuing commitment to veterans by participating as sponsors, runners, or vendors.
All funds raised help support the Ward Roney Jr. VFW Post 7511’s crucial work to help local veterans in need and positively impact the Monroe community.
